& Your Brand is Not Your Logo…
You are probably wondering if I’ve gone bonkers but that statement ” a brand is not a logo ” is the absolute truth.
The most successful brands have very simple logos – their story is told in their vision, their message, how they treat their customers & what people say about them.
Think about the Google logo for instance, just has just six letters & four colours. A child could have created it. When we see that image we know exactly who & what the business is. Nowadays we don’t even have to see the logo – if someone says the word we know it exactly.
That feeling of knowing/connection is what makes a successful brand.

When you are designing your logo think carefully about what your customers/clients want, give it to them, treat them well & reap the benefits.
You will be doing yourself & your brand a disservice if you just go to Fiverr & rely on someone elses $5 vision.
Talk to someone who really knows what you are about, throw ideas around, discuss for hours if needs be. Remember a brand is not a logo. Eventually you will thrash out your passion & find a small indicator [your logo] of what can illustrate all of that.
What you want is for someone to see your logo & immediately know you, who you are & what you do…
A few days ago one brand expert said “Be more than everyone else who’s lost the human skill of communication. If the internet fell down tomorrow could you build business the old school way?”
What do you think?
